HISTORY: Over 1,000 Ansons were used in Australia during WW2 for coastal reconnaissance. Navigation, gunner and pilot training. This particular aircraft (EF-954) arrived in Australia on the 28th December 1942 and was used at the No.6 service flying training school at Mallala between 1942-45. It was recovered from that area in 1984.

The restoration has used parts from many other Ansons, Especially VH-FIA (AW-965) which served in Mount Gambier.
