DESCRIPTION: 7 Cylinder air cooled Radial

POWER: 200 HP

BORE: 127 mm (5')

STROKE: 140 mm (5.5')

HISTORY: This engine, the forerunner of the Cheetah, was built from 1923 to 1942.
Like most radials, the overhead valves are actuated by push rods working on a cam plate

The lynx powered many aircraft, including the Airspeed Courier, Avro Ten, and the Avro 504N. It is unknown what type of aircraft this particular engine powered. Over 6000 were built.
